More than one third of people working at sea have such high workloads that they do not have the energy to do anything else after a day’s work and 27% say they have no time for recovery after intensive working periods. The figures come from a survey by the Transport Agency. The report is called Seafarers’ working and living conditions and is available on the Agency’s website in Swedish.
