Small workplaces often have poor risk management of strain injuries. This is shown in a summary of the 1,390 special inspections carried out by the Swedish Work Environment Authority during the autumn. More than half of workplaces with 5-19 employees had shortcomings related to ergonomics. Slightly fewer, 46%, of workplaces with 20-49 employees had failings in this area, while the corresponding figure for workplaces with more than 50 employees was 36%.
