The Transport Agency has developed a brochure describing as definition of safety culture and important aspects of a good safety culture. Among other things, the following simplified, comprehensive definition of culture:
”Safety culture is about an organisation’s shared ways of thinking and acting in relation to risks and safety, i.e. how an organisation sets its priorities and actually works with risks and safety linked to their operations.”
